  1. So many show cases which let us imagine the room we would love.

    A lot of parking slots.

    Food is pretty cheap.

Of course it place always crowded.

Products itself I think it’s quite reasonable price and good enough quality.

  2. First time I have been to IKEA store as a whole. Moreover, this was the first IKEA store to visit. Pretty spacious and there’s a good chance that you’d get completely overwhelmed by the abundance of the furniture and home appliances. The food was delicious and quite reasonable and I would say that the foods are quite delicious than a lot of restaurants outside. Will go there frequently from now on…

  3. There is a free shuttle bus from Shin Yokohama station. The multilevel parking is spacious and there are available spaces for customers with kids.

It gets crowded during weekends and holidays.

There is a vegetable area wherein you can buy cheap veggies as low as 150yen.

The food area gets crowded around lunch time so it’s better to eat before or after noon time.

Always keep the receipt just in case you want to sell or return the item.

There is an outlet area wherein you can buy used or refurbished items with cheaper price. (But you need to dismantle it by yourself)

You can also check an item beforehand and reserve it online.

  4. 1 stop solution to affordable home necessities..
Parking at this place is seldom crowded and hence offers a quick get-in and get-out.

  5. Huge store. Easily accessible by private and public transportation. Plenty of free parking if you drive and right off the highway. There’s a restaurant and two bistros in the store. Elevators and stairs for accessibility. There’s also the shop and pay option. Many of the signs as well as associates that speak English to help those that don’t speak Japanese.

They have Hot Dogs for only ¥100 ? they were very good for the cheap price. The ice cream was even better for only ¥50? and they have delicacy bags of frozen Swedish meatballs for just over ¥1000? I highly recommend

Good place to go if you’re looking for furniture in Japan. More expensive than Nitori but I don’t think it’s as expensive as MUJI. I enjoyed the displays they had, and I feel like the layout was organized nicely. That being said, it does get EXTREMELY crowded during the weekend. The first time I went, I had to wait 2.5~3 hours in traffic just to get into the parking lot. If you aren’t planning on buying any furniture to bring home with you in your car, I highly recommend taking the bus or finding time during the week to go. Also, I believe they are restricting the amount of people allowed inside the building at one time due to COVID. I am not sure how long that is going to last for. All in all, a nice experience. Just remember to be patient with people walking super slowly and blocking the walkway. I’d also recommend the food court!

Very good service, the employees are very nice and helpful. The delivery is quite fast. And the restaurant is great, I wish I got it closer because they have so many tasty vegan options.

I used to enjoy the Ikea experience, but I am not sure if I have changed or if Ikea are trying to save money – but it is not so satisfactory. Most of the furniture items we saw were cheap looking and felt low quality. You get forced to go through the maze before you can find the end of the shop and there used to be some unexpected last minute bargains before the check out – now there was nothing of interest at all. Even the food was disappointing. I was looking forward to the traditional meat balls and they were awful. Almost cold and a thin film over the gravy (it must have been sitting on a shelf for a while). I am not going again.

I like going to Ikea and sometimes just for the food. However weekends are extremely busy so I recommend going on a weekday.

Enjoy the ambiance of Sweden in Japan by visiting IKEA. If you are tired of shopping, enjoy swedish food at the restaurant. The menu has many options and flavors than Swedish IKEA itself (haha!).

I love Ikea! Too bad it’s far from home, otherwise I’d visit more often. It’s great for checking in trends, getting inspired and furnishing our house with affordable items. Also, I really like the restaurant there. I always plan my trip to Ikea including a meal in it

The canteen is good with many options for vegans. As a muslim, I only eat halal foods and plants base certainly will be my options. Many people come to eat here but there are lots of space to sit. Service is OK and fast.

Spacious parking, but as usual as any other IKEA shops you can’t go straight to that item you wanna buy; what I’m saying is you’d have to go through the “IKEA MAZE” just to get a new towel or some chair! Their washroom doesn’t have any washlets so prepare to wipe your behind with some paper towels.
