  • Download the configuration files for ProtonVPN

Then, choose the ProtonVPN configuration files meant for Linux. Also, you must opt for the UDP protocol over TCP as it’s faster than the latter. 

  • Get your credentials for OpenVPN

And, for that, you must log in to your ProtonVPN account first. Go to the Account tab and look up the credentials given under OpenVPN/ IKEv2 Username.
